I am currently completing my final year of a Bachelor of Visual Arts and Applied Design at TAFE SA, Adelaide Centre for the Arts – Majoring in Contemporary Jewellery. I studied Fashion Design for two years during and after Secondary school – gradually my interests began to change, leading to a career path in Contemporary Jewellery.

Inspiration for my jewellery designs comes from my imagination, observing and feeling textures and experimenting with diverse materials. I use paper cut outs and mock ups to help develop and generate ideas/ concepts for my jewellery designs.

My Jewellery displays an organic nature and textural feel. My love for faces does appear in some of my jewellery – the more bazaar and out of proportion the better. I use a mixture of materials – they range from Sterling Silver 925 to non metal materials such as plastics, resins, wood and other found objects. My jewellery designs are a fulfilling reflection of my personal happiness in designing contemporary ‘fashion statement’ Jewellery.
